In 2013 (?) Specialist Glass Products was achieving sales of £3.5m, making items such as glass staircases, shopfronts and balconies for venues such as hotels, conference centres, national retail chains partitioning and much more.
The firm has expanded from its original 3,000sq ft premises to occupy about 30,000sq ft of space. Operating from this site, with an expansion on the horizon to develop further to house more machinery and jobs, the company can continue to work on prestigious projects such as; The Shard, Somerset house, The Gherkin, King’s Cross Station, Cambridge University and many more.

In 2014, Mr Taylor said: “The company has grown in strength and profitability year on year, particularly in extremely demanding and difficult market conditions due to the recession through the development of existing staff, by adding experienced professional persons into key positions and through investment in specialist equipment and machinery.”
He added: “In a demanding market place, we believe that we provide the best quality products available in a time to meet our customers’ demands.”
