Evolution Glass appointed us to supply a range of bespoke acoustic glass panels for a large office building. The client doesn’t often work with curved glass fittings, however, having previously worked with them on various projects, we had built a strong relationship and trust in our specialist curved glass capabilities.
The curved and flat glass units we supplied formed new internal doors and individual glass partitions to section off various large rooms, hallways, offices, and shared meeting rooms in throughout the building. The client fitted the acoustic glass units to create a bright and airy office space while achieving sound control.
We supplied custom acoustic glass panels within 20 working days
We processed and supplied a range of bespoke flat and curved 14.8mm acoustic glass panels created from a custom glass template, which we developed tailored to the client’s required length and width measurements.
The client had tight deadlines to keep in line with, so we worked to a target lead time of 15-20 working days to ensure Evolution Glass received the glass promptly and could satisfy their own client’s needs.
What were the benefits?
Acoustic glass works by reducing noise transmission between rooms via an interlayer that absorbs sound vibrations. At SGP, we can process curved acoustic glass units up to 3200mm x 5000mm and flat glass units up to 6000mm x 3210mm.
