We’re proud to announce that we have sponsored Huddersfield Town’s new Pedal For Pounds shirt for 2023!
Specialist Glass Products is amongst several prestigious businesses that have donated to support the club’s annual ‘Pedal for Pounds’ fundraiser bike ride.
The donations raised will be granted to four charities, all of which have a significant impact on the local community; Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Andy’s Man Club, Huddersfield Town Foundation, and Ruddi’s Retreat. Each charity will receive a 25% split of the money, supporting their hard work and dedication.
Over 85 members of the Huddersfield Town team will be undertaking the 260-mile-long route from the 26th to the 29th of April, 2023. The bike ride will start at John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, moving towards Lichfield, Worcester, and finally ending up in Cardiff.
The HTAFC team will be sporting the shirts, which feature SGP’s logo on the back, for both the first stretch and final stretch of the route, aswell as during the cyclist’s lap of honour. The design also features a dragon to reflect the passage through Wales and the traditional team colours of white and blue.
At SGP, we recognise each organisation’s immense impact on our local community, so we didn’t hesitate to support such an important charity event. We are so proud to have been able to support Huddersfield Town in providing aid for the four deserving causes, and wish all participants the best of luck on the day!
