We are hiring for five exciting roles; account administrator, glass cutter, CNC operator, toughening / furnace operator and a driver to join our growing fleet.
Founded in 2003, Specialist Glass Products (SGP) create glass bespoke to exact client requirements, making it one of the only firms in the UK to be able to offer multiple glass services with the very latest innovations and technology including:
- Cutting line with automatic glass loading and retrieval allowing SGP to cut, toughen and laminate glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- CNC Milling machine to allow for intricate cuts and shaping of glass
- Heat soaking ovens to protect glass from breakages, available for glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- Glass bending machine which allows glass up to 3200mm x 5000mm to be curved

Accounts Administrator (Position filled)
Permanent – 39 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for an enthusiastic full time (39hrs) account administrator with strong problem-solving and communication skills to join SGP’s account team. The role requires good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations as well as solid computer skills, data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors and more.

Glass Cutter
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for an experienced glass cutter who can measure, cut and check the quality of glass pieces. Must be confident in setting up, operating and controlling glass cutting machines and related equipment’s. The applicant must be able to pay constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries and work cordially with team members.

CNC Operator
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for an experienced CNC operator who can confidently operate computer numeric-controlled heavy machinery with an understanding of how the machinery functions and able to run setup and day-to-day operations. The applicant must be able to pay constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries and work cordially with team members.

Toughening/Furnace Operator
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for a new furnace operator as our business continues to expand due to increased demand. This position will be responsible for managing toughened/tempered glass and machinery functions. Proper glass handling techniques and minimal quality glass inspection a must.

Van Driver – (Position filled)
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We’re looking for a full-time delivery driver to join our expanding team. The position will complete handling and delivery of glass products to businesses and sites in multi-drop locations. A driving license will be required, and applicants must be numerate and literate; be able to perform basic mathematic equations and have the ability to read and understand job sheets.
