We are hiring for two exciting roles; Glass processor and Double glazing/Laminating operative to join our fast-growing team.
Founded in 2003, Specialist Glass Products (SGP) create glass bespoke to exact client requirements, making it one of the only firms in the UK to be able to offer multiple glass services with the very latest innovations and technology including:
- Cutting line with automatic glass loading and retrieval allowing SGP to cut, toughen and laminate glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- CNC Milling machine to allow for intricate cuts and shaping of glass
- Heat soaking ovens to protect glass from breakages, available for glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm
- Glass bending machine which allows glass up to 3200mm x 5000mm to be curved

Glass processors: 40 hours (Evening Shift)
Temporary/Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC/ negotiable depending on experience
Required skills:
- Experience working within the glass or building materials industry
- Must be flexible and have excellent communication skills

Double glazing/Laminating operatives: 40 hours (Day Shift)
Permanent – 40 hours a week – Salary £TBC
We are looking for double glazing operatives to join our skilled workforce on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties will include processing glass to the highest possible standard, operating glass processing equipment and inspecting and signing for your own production. You will operate with a ‘right first-time’ attitude, keeping waste to an absolute minimum and carrying out work to the best of your ability and all reasonable instructions given to you by Supervision/Management. You will also be responsible for wearing PPE and observing safe working practices at all times.
Required skills:
- Experience of working within the glass or building materials industry
- Must have a full current driving licence
- Previous experience of working delivery driving or similar
- Must be flexible and have excellent communication skills
